Research interests:

Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Health Data, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Diabetes

Current projects:

The aim of my postdoc project is to examine the incidence of type 2 diabetes in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. Furthermore the aim is to test the hypotheses that treatment with TNF-α antagonists or small bowel resection is associated with the risk of type 2 diabetes in patients diagnosed with inflammatory bowel diseases.

I am also a part of the Research Support Team who helps clinicians translate research ideas based on clinical observations into clinical research. My role is to advise with study design, epidemiologic expertise, statistical analyses, and contribute with research experience.
