Section for Intersectoral Health Services Research undertakes and supports intersectoral research with the purpose of generating new knowledge on the functions of health services. This entails systematic analyses and evaluation of new intersectoral health initiatives, collaboration models and organizational structures. The section administers the Intersectoral Fund for Health Research (“Tværspuljen”), which allocates four million DKR each year to projects focusing on improving collaboration between hospitals, municipalities and general practice in the Capital Region.
