Lotte is a Postdoc and Project
Manager on the project “The first step”, aiming to implement and evaluate a new
interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral effort to detect and support pregnant
women with psychosocial vulnerabilities. “The first step” is carried out in
collaboration with North Zealand Hospital, North Zealand Psychiatric Center,
and the Center for Early Intervention and Family Studies (CIF), Department of
Psychology, University of Copenhagen.
Lotte is a Registered Midwife and holds a master's
degree in Public Health Science and a PhD degree in Lifecycle in Medicine from
the University of Copenhagen. Her primary focus of research is mental health in
relation to pregnancy. The objective in her PhD-project was to
assess the effect of supervised group exercise on psychological well-being and
sleep quality, among pregnant women with or at high risk of depression.
