William Albrekt Ravn holds a bachelor's degree in Sport and Health Sciences from the University of Southern Denmark and a master's degree in Human Physiology from the University of Copenhagen. He has prior experience in health promotion among individuals with type 2 diabetes and has a particular research interest in the interaction between diet, physical activity, and overall health.

William is involved as a scientific research assistant in the randomized controlled trial (RCT) PLATE, which investigates whether a plant-based diet can reduce symptoms and improve quality of life in individuals with rheumatoid arthritis.​
