Terese Høi Jørgensen

Terese has a background in Public Health Science. Terese's primary research areas cover social medicine and clinical epidemiology. She studies risk factor and consequences of the interplay between depression and cardiovascular diseases. Furthermore, she investigates the relation between characteristics in adolescence such as body height, body mass index, and intelligence for a number of health outcome later in life. Terese has a special interest in issues related to social medicine and social epidemiology and has for example investigated how social conditions impact loss of physical function and subsequent use of healthcare services and mortality among older adults.

Terese is a PhD student in Section for Population-based Epidemiology in Professor Merete Osler’s research group.
