Nermin Ghith, a researcher at the Center for Clinical Research and Prevention, Section for Health Promotion and Prevention, is an epidemiologist with a four postgraduate degrees in the health and medical sciences. Originally trained as a biologist with a double major in chemistry, she studied and worked in a number of countries within and outside the European Union. She received both her PhD degree in health and medical sciences (2017) and her recent Master's degree in public health with a specialization in quantitative assessment (2010) from University of Copenhagen. Her main research interests are the assessment of the development of and the progression of illness in individuals with chronic conditions and their health outcomes over time. Nermin would also like to explore possibilities for collaboration with related science fields such as biophysics, bioinformatics, system and molecular biology, and biomedical engineering.
