Research Area

The aim of Marie's  postdoc project is to examine the incidence of type 2 diabetes in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. Furthermore, the aim is to test the hypotheses that treatment with TNF-α antagonists or small bowel resection is associated with the risk of type 2 diabetes in patients diagnosed with inflammatory bowel diseases.

Marie is also a part of the Research Support Team who helps clinicians translate research ideas based on clinical observations into clinical research. Marie's role is to advise with study design, mythological expertise, statistical analyses, and contribute with research experience.
