Marie is an Industrial PhD student in the Section for Health Promotion and Prevention. Marie holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Copenhagen, where she specialized in intervention research with a specific focus on children's food literacy. She also has extensive experience with global health and international health policy from the University of Copenhagen and the Danish Ministry of the Interior and Health.

 

Marie's PhD-project is part of the FoodACT research project, which is a collaboration between the Center for Clinical Research and Prevention, the University of Copenhagen and the Danish organization Gardens to Bellies. In her PhD project, Marie will focus on developing an instrument to measure climate change literacy in children as well as investigating the effect of school garden programs on children's food literacy and climate change literacy. ​
