
Julie Flyger is a consultant in the Section for Epidemiology and The Intersectoral Prevention Laboratory. Julie is a candidate in public health science and has her Ph.D. from both the University of Southern Denmark and Ilisimatusarfik (University of Greenland).
Julie has worked with addiction treatment in Greenland as her primary research interest, where she has conducted both qualitative and quantitative studies. The focus of the studies has been on implementation and evaluation, as well as health and well-being in small populations.
Julie has also previously worked as a consultant in the Department of Health in Greenland and thus has in-depth knowledge of Greenlandic health conditions and official work.
As a consultant, Julie will work in the Capital Region's health profile team and The Intersectoral Prevention Laboratory, where, in addition to contributing to specific research projects, she will contribute to research-based consultancy work.
