Delal Sarmanlu

Research assistant

Delal is a research assistant at the Section for Epidemiology and has a Master of Science in Public Health from Aarhus University from 2022. 

Delal has previous experience with research projects at TrygFonden's Centre for Child Research, Regional Hospital West Jutland, and Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research. Furthermore, she has worked at the Department of Cardiology at Herlev and Gentofte Hospital with the research project The Heart and Mind Trial, an RCT study that examines the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy in patients with heart disease suffering from anxiety. During her employment at the Department of Cardiology she completed her qualitative thesis regarding patients' and their relative caregivers' experiences with participation during the patient's course of illness with infective endocarditis. 

Delal currently works with the InterVitaminK study where she plans, coordinates, and carries out health examinations in the intervention project regarding vitamin K and cardiovascular health.
