Benedikte graduated as a medical doctor from the University of
Copenhagen in July 2020. Currently, she is affiliated as a research assistant
in the Copenhagen Phase IV Unit at the Center for
Clinical Research and Prevention. Her major task is to contribute to the
execution of research projects.
Benedikte has a wide range of
interests but is particularly interested in drug safety. During the last 2½
years of her studies, she worked as a student assistant at the Department of
Clinical Pharmacology, Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital. Through this, she
gained knowledge and skills regarding adverse drug reactions and
pharmacovigilance by assisting the Adverse Drug Event Manager. In her master
thesis, which was also done at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology,
Benedikte investigated whether spontaneous reporting of intracranial hemorrhage
as an adverse drug reaction reflects the safety of anticoagulants.
