Areas of responsibility/research:

Anne Marie Lyngsø is currently holding a position as a senior researcher and project manager at the Center for Clinical Research and Prevention, Section for Intersectoral Health Services Research. Her primary focus of research is how to optimize care coordination across health care sectors and how to reduce health inequalities, particularly for socially disadvantaged patients and patients with chronic disease. Anne Marie has a special interest in research that involves general practice and on project implementation in general.

In Section for Intersectoral Health Services Research, Anne Marie manages a research project on how to optimise the detection and treatment of somatic chronic diseases among patients with severe mental illness. Furthermore, she is involved in different tasks related to the Intersectoral Fund for Health Research, including sparring practice and guidance on research projects targeting issues that cut across sectors.

Anne Marie holds a master's degree in sociology from Aalborg University and a PhD degree from 2016 from the University of Copenhagen. The project focused on barriers to and facilitators of interorganisational integration and on how to measure the level of integration across healthcare sectors.

Former employments include DSI Danish Institute for Health Services Research, Department of Integrated Healthcare and Research Unit of Chronic Conditions at Bispebjerg University Hospital.
