Agnes graduated as medical doctor I 2020 from the University of Copenhagen and then attended her residency at the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Holbæk Hospital and in a general practitioner's office. Subsequently, Agnes attended a one-year internship (“introduktionsstilling") in internal medicine, also at Holbæk Hospital.

​Agnes' previous research has been concerning the impact of perinatal factors impact on the child's later cognitive function with data from the Danish registers. Her PhD study will also revolve around different perinatal factors impact on mother and child in the postpartum period and later.
