Section for Clinical Epidemiology functions as an integrated part of clinical research at Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital. We perform clinical epidemiological studies on population-based cohorts and national health registries, but also seek to equip clinical practitioners to better conduct high quality clinical and epidemiological research. Therefore, we have established a research support team, that provides the practical guidance in clinical and epidemiological research. We strive to help start new projects, complete initiated studies and increase the likelihood for good clinical ideas being tested, realized and implemented.
Research support can include help with:
- Grant applications
- Planning of studies / study design
- Data management
- Statistical analysis
- Manuscript drafting
We also offer courses in research methodology and have an open environment with room for PhD students that want to work with clinical epidemiology for a period of their PhD.
Against payment, for an article we often offer three months help with study design, analysis, article drafting (method, results, figures and tables) and assistance with revision of the article. We can also offer shorter or longer periods of assistance. Assistance with grant applications that can generate funding for the above-mentioned help is also supported.
